After getting so much from our guided tour with the Sagrada Familia church, we walked around to lookk for the famous Las Ramblas area and as we went along we passed by and saw alot of other local stuff happening around Barcelona.

There was actually some event going on and some people were in costume but we did not understand what was the event!

Narrow streets but along these streets where the good restaurants by the locals are. I think these people, most of them, are going for dinner... :) Just like us!

Enjoying the Night Attractions in Barcelona

After treading the Ramblas during day time, and passing by the Barcelona Cathedral, it was a great fun looking around under the night sky and beside the waterfront... The images were not so good as my cam has "night sickness" but I just deal with it for "remembrance" purposes. :)

Marina Port Vell Barcelona Experience

It was not all about the structures but also with other places. Although I missed a lot of photos due to limited battery life, I try to reconstruct everything and share the sunny days here with all of you and also for me for my remembrance that in the other side of this continent, the sun is shining strongly...

I will not explain the details of the church here, the meaning of the designs, the sculptures, etc but I am posting the images that were taken. Some of the photos though were taken before we were guided but the same, all around the grande edifice.

Hotel Prisma Barcelona Experience

Affordable and good service. The service that we got for the price we paid was very well worth it. Thanks to the referral of ryanair for this hotel. Some of the images of the hotel are what you see below. I forgot to take shots of the bathroom but it has bidet and bathtub.... really not bad. No images of breakfast as well but well served though I suggested in their form that they serve more fruits or fruit varieties.

La Sagrada Familia Barcelona Images

The Gaudi creation, unfinished, as some of his other creations, the Sagrada Familia church was the first place we visited. At first, we just roam around outside from various sides and took our time just taking some photographies for good angles, strange sculptures and architectural design and for many other reasons. This is the unguided part of images, when we were still outside the gates. The images for inside, when we had the guide, will be uploaded later, two posts after this.

Since at this level, I have not so much understanding of the meaning of the stuff n the church, I will not tell them here but in the next batch of post about the Sagrada Familia Church (The Holy Family: "Jesus, Mary and Joseph" church).

Landing In Barcelona Spain To The Hotel

After landing, we had to search our way to the city. We landed in Reus, Tarragona and still a couple of hours away from where we really wanted to go-Barcelona! We took the bus from Reus Airport to the rail station and from there, we took the train to barcelona. Bus fair from the airport to the train station was 2,30 per person while ticket for train was more or less Eur 7. It was not bad and it was enjoying to see the shoreline and the country side as we rolled our way to Barcelona.

We were hungry and this cafe was a big help. The prices? Not bad for a cafe, they are generally more affordable than in Netherlands!

As I ate my sandwich, I was able to steal some shots at the counter of this cafe... "force of habit" for a blogger eh!
