Landing In Barcelona Spain To The Hotel

After landing, we had to search our way to the city. We landed in Reus, Tarragona and still a couple of hours away from where we really wanted to go-Barcelona! We took the bus from Reus Airport to the rail station and from there, we took the train to barcelona. Bus fair from the airport to the train station was 2,30 per person while ticket for train was more or less Eur 7. It was not bad and it was enjoying to see the shoreline and the country side as we rolled our way to Barcelona.

We were hungry and this cafe was a big help. The prices? Not bad for a cafe, they are generally more affordable than in Netherlands!


As I ate my sandwich, I was able to steal some shots at the counter of this cafe... "force of habit" for a blogger eh!

Barcelona Trip Images - On the Way

Waking up at 4:48 and preparing for the trip was a big deal. From home, Amore and I had to take a bike as it was only 6 AM and was way before the bus or train schedule. We took only a single bike and left them in the center of Nijmegen and just took it back when we returned. We then took the taxi/van from Nijmegen direct to the airport in Weze.



Waiting for our taxi and taking a bit rest from riding behind the bike for 30 minutes!


The station is so quiet in the early morning cold... looks dead...

In the terminal in Weeze, waiting for the flight... all in with passport check and stuff. By the way, the passport check for non-EEA citizen was so quick!
